Running dual 4k monitors for productivity

MutkisJ

So I just started working at a office as a IT support intern, and a coworker was a bit angry with his work-laptop running very hot while running dual 4k monitors at his desk.

I noticed he is running the displays on an laptop with only an integrated graphics card, but that it has an Thunderbolt 3 port, so I suggested that he could use an external GPU enclosure.

So now I ask you, oh mighty forum, what GPU should be sufficient to run said two 4K monitor. He is only using the monitors for productivity, so there isn't any need for gaming performance.

Thank you
