Those aren't the best you can get out of that card, is there a reason you can't go any further?

I got to +245 core, +125 memory on my GTX 780 when I was overclocking, anything higher than that isn't stable.

Please don't use offsets, every card has a different Base and boost and we can't tell if it's actually a good overclock. What clocks are you getting under load? Most 1080s land between 2000 and 2100

Anything over +80mhz causes artifacts and crashing

1911-2000 MHz under full load

Have you tried adding more voltage?

my 980 can get +150 to +200 on core, so idk why it does that. Did you plug all power cables to it?

Not great but acceptable. Definitely on the lower end of the spectrum though

Is there any reason why you need to overclock?

(Not enough FPS in games, VR, etc)

Try lower voltage. Because of GPU Boost you might actually get higher clocks with lower power consumption. If you feel like tinkering a bit the voltage curve is the best option for overclocking. Allows you to set static voltages and clocks for each voltage

Are you nuts? Don't max out the voltage! Leave it stock to try to OC, rise it just a bit at a time if you go higher.

I just use stock voltage but now I'm only boosting to 1790 - 1820

I'm using MSI Afterburner to OC and testing stability with MSI Kombuster and I do have 3DMark. However following your advice im now at +100

Ah, nice. What I do is OC it to around +150 on core and +200 on memory (if you have a good bin). I stress test it for a while with 3d mark to see if it's stable. If not, lower it, if yes, keep it or raise it by 10.

i got my 980 to +150 core/+200 mem. doing this, without changing the voltage, but I had to raise it a bit after a while, cuz it crashed more and more.

I'm at stock voltage and I crash at +130mhz on core, should I raise the voltage slightly?
