Hp 2560p elitebook wont power up

Hello! I need help on what has been damaged on my laptop: i unpluged a battery then connected a power cord (adapter) then after using my laptop, suddenly i unpluged the power cord as i forgotten that i had unplugged battery! 
-Now my laptop does not power up, neither does the fan rotate nor the HDD, but the LED's are on when the adapter or battery is plugged in! I tried discharging static charges, removing RAM and inserting it again but did't work! I am afraid it might be a device damage, any help on specific problem please! My laptop is hp 2560p
