Read speeds of segate Barracuda 7200rpm

We are famous in UK! #Yikes, They are selling the 1TB unit, under this link you should be able to find the specs of that one:

Just google it, I'm sure some tech reviewer has tested the speeds. IIRC they can change based on the capacity anyways, so a tech review site would be the best.

Hello Altruist,

 

We have several hard drives that run at 7200 RPM, the BarraCuda Pro of 3.5 inches and the 2.5 inches do for example, but also some of the normal BarraCuda of the 3.5 inches series, the normal BarraCuda of 2.5 inches doesn't have a version on the 7200 RPM department.

 

The reads of course will be different depending on the part number, revision, technology on the hard drive, capacity, etc... So what we recommend you is to look for the part number of your unit (ST1000LM049 for example) and then come to our website and find the specifications of such a drive:
