i cant find any monitors under 400$ with the following specs: QHD 24-27inch 60Hz g-sync 1-6ms (NOT gtg)

G-Sync is Nvidias cash grab. You won't find anything like that for $400. Some of Nvidias G-Sync modules cost $500 on their own.

If you don't have a GPU yet you can get an AMD card and get a Freesync monitor. There are two that I know of that fit in that price point.

My main PC (Hybrid Windows 10/Arch Linux):

OS: Arch Linux w/ XFCE DE (VFIO-Patched Kernel) as host OS, windows 10 as guest

@sazrocks nailed it. The Dell is what I'd be looking at if that's your price range, they're decent monitors.

If you don't mind waiting a couple of months for Black Friday the 27" ones were something like $300 off last year.

I'm going to pick one up this year myself. Unless something IPS goes on sale.
