How is my new PC wish-list?

Go to solution Solved by Koka458,

Alright. Let's wrap it up.

I need a better cooler. Something big-beefy!

It's just a wish list for future build, I don't have that kind of money.

It's from amazon India and '$' is not converted but taken from amazon US.

CPU: Intel Core i5 8600K - 20,880 [$267.90]
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 AMP! Edition - 27,252 [$299.99]
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370M - 12,890 [$90.62]
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Turbo Xtraflo - 3,340 [$36.99]
RAM: G.Skill F4-3000C16D-16GTZR TridentZ - 17,709 [$189.99]
Keyboard+Mouse: Cooler Master Devastator Gaming 3 - 3,999 [$39.99]
PSU: CORSAIR CX650M - 6,370 [$59.99]
Monitor: Samsung Curved LED??? - 9,899 [$160]
Case: Cooler Master 590 III - 5,500 [$80]
HDD: WD WD10EZEX 1Tb - 3,179 [$89]

India - TOTAL = Rs. 1,11,018 [$1632.62]
US = Rs. 89383.96 [$1,314.47]

I can literally buy another 1060 or a single 1080 in US with Indian budget.

I really don't see the need for water cooling and mechanical keyboard.

lemme know what you think...

It's a nice build, although you'll probably need a nicer CPU cooler, the Hyper 212 isn't a good cooler to pair with an 8600K. If that's all that'a available in your country, then fair enough.

That's even worse. I suggest an Arctic 33 eSports, Cryorig H7, or be quiet! Dark Rock 3/4, Hyper 212s will never do unless you don't plan on overclocking, at which point I'd question why you're getting an unlocked chip, but I digress.

Only Cryorig H7 is available. Just tiny bit more but I might be able to manage.

If it's also available and within budget it might do to check the price on a Cryorig H5 either universal or ultimate. If they are within 1-20 US Dollar to Ruppee(?) conversion rate then they might very well be worth it. For benches I have seen so far the H5 Universal and Ultimate in overclock scenarios tend to outcool the H7 by around 4-8 degrees.

Suggest perhaps tossing in an SSD and also moving up to a GTX 1070 if you can afford it in addition. Most any SSD will do though we could point you at some of the higher performance ones if you'd like. Dual 1060's is effectively no gain in overal FPS, and i'm not even sure if that arrangement would be able to even net you use of the additional display outputs from that 1060 with it's graphical capability reserved for the other monitor.

Wow! H5 Universal, even more expensive.

And that 2nd 1060 was just a comparison of how cheap it would be to build PC in US...just a thought.
