yes, but both cards will default to the slowest card's speed

EDIT: Instead of going for a 1080 SLI setup get a 1080Ti. I dont see any benefit of SLI in it's current state

Hi,

I was wondering if I can use two different models of a 1080 for SLI, e.g.

SLI this:

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01GJEE9BG/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

With this:

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01IR6LMLO/ref=ox_sc_act_image_9?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1

The reason I am asking this is because I want to SLI two 1080s, but amazon has some dumb limit of 1 GPU per customer (I know it's to stop miners, but still).

Any suggestions?

That was the awnser I was looking for.

The reason I am doing SLI for 1080 is that my content creation takes advantage of multiple GPUs, and 1080 has good value. The reason for SLI is that I want more fps in games aswel :P

To be honest most games will run worse since SLI is such a niche many games either dont support it or are very poorly optimized and result in worse performance
