External Hard Drive seen as two differents disk

Hello guys, i want to "merge"  the drives  of my Verbatim (toshiba inside) USB 3TB external HDD  , it is weirdly splitted in two physical disks! one of 2048 GB and the second 746 GB

i don't understand why they are splitted because they are both in GPT . Maybe the controller in the usb case or something more tricky force it

Undetected by the bios when plugged directly to the motherboard. I think the disk have a custom firmware to be splitted in two and to be not detected by motherboards?1533130526-180801150957.jpg
