Bethesda Account Creation

So I created a Bethesda account in the Fallout 4 mods section then attempted to sign in to it on the website. I was then given a prompt saying to check my email and verify my account. I received the email clicked the link and filled out the account information page. Then when I tried to submit it a pop-up appeared saying, "Something went wrong. Try again." I then tried again to no avail. I decided to try to sign into my account and when I do it says invalid username or password even though it is the same username and password I used on the account creation page. Then I requested a new account verification page link and I attempted to resubmit the form. However the same pop-up appeared. I have tried this several times and I get the same result. I have sent an email to Bethesda support and I am hoping they will get back to me but I figure someone here might already have the answer.

I have resolved the issue. The something went wrong pop-up really just means that the username you want is already in use.
