BSOD Because I Shut Off my PC While Running "chkdsk \f

DarkFireGuy

Okay so I know I shouldn't have done it but the progress bar hadn't changed in a couple hours so I thought it froze. So I did a hard reset and was greeted by an NTSF file system error.

I have no idea what's happening or how to fix it. If anyone knows how to fix it that'd be wonderful. I'll be here to give any additional information if needed.

P.S. I know some files are probably going to be corrupt but an I at least recover some data?

UPDATE: I ran "chkdsk /r" in the admin cmd when windows doesn't load properly and it fixed it.

oooooof

well if you get a windows copy, try a repair install. If you've screwed it up too badly, get another windows drive and pull important files off of it. Chances are the actual data is intact, you just messed windows up something fierce.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.
