I changed the thermalpaste and cleaned the cpu fan today but the temp is still at 60-65°C.

I am using the cryorig cp7 thermalpaste.

My Core Clock is always at 4.3 ghz. Can I save power and turn that on idle down?

Powersettings at balanced.

The ambient temp = 25-30°C.

I hope that you guys can understand my english. Its not the best.

welcome to the Linus Tech Tips forums!

have you tried to overclock this system? if so, on bootup, spam the DEL key till you enter the UEFI. from there you'll want to reset your UEFI to stock F9 key (load UEFI defaults), then the F10 key to save and exit.

if not, you have something running in the background causing the CPU to stay at 4.3GHZ at idle.
