MY PC WONT DETECTED MY HEADPHONES

So I have windows 10 and a Kraken pro v2 it used to work fine on my pc now after I got my gtx 1060 g1 gaming 3gb after I got the drivers and figured everything out my pc won't detect anything from my headphone jacks only through the HDMI (speakers) I tried to go to Realtek and do the audio manager but the audio manager won't show up for me after I downloaded it? can anyone help me I went on youtube and looked through everything and I just can't find a solution to my problem

Have a look in your windows settings,system,sound see if that is working. Also check that the allow apps to use microphone setting is on, in the windows settings under privacy.

Make sure the selected playback device is your headphones and not NVIDIA HDMI transcoding.  If you left click on the sound/volume icon in the system tray, does it come up as Speakers/Headphones (Realtek) or does it say NVIDIA something?

This screams a conflicting audio setting. I wonder if a headphone jack’s being disabled? When this happened to me, I had to go to BOTH the REALTEK application nestled in my control panel and right-click the little horn icon in my system’s tray.

hey like I said it doesn't detect it doesn't even show headphones on it it just has speakers for the Nvidia through the HDMI
