H500P + NZXT Hue +

I've been looking into picking up a new case for my system and have been absolutely in love with the Cooler Master H500P, however my motherboard doesn't support RGB lighting, I was wondering if I were to pick up a NZXT Hue + if that would be capable of plugging into the stock 200MM fans on the H500P or if I'm better off just looking for another case?

Afaik the hue+ only works with the nzxt aer fans. Cooler master does sell their own controller that plugs into an internal usb header on your motherboard, that should work with those 200mm fans.

No, NZXT's CAM software is proprietary to NZXT Products (Corsair Link is the same way) CoolerMaster's fans are actually controllable by any motherboard RGB and/or many 1st party and 3rd party controllers. I'm using CoolerMaster's mini RGB controller, its very basic but it works.

Also make SURE you get the H500P Mesh, not the original H500p. That price tag might look enticing but everything about the case was done wrong, and they fixed a LOT of it on the mesh version.
