need help trying out a Titan

Hi everyone, I wasn't sure which category this question belonged in. Anyway, I live in NYC and recently I sat on a noblechair (I believe it was the EPIC?) at Microcenter. It was a bit stiff, and lemme tell you, that thing must have been sat on countless times since it's between the aisles. I couldn't find any place in NYC where I could try the Titan out. I love that integrated lumbar support because of my back issues. Haven't heard of any other company in the world that makes that into gaming chairs. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Get a Herman Miller. Not a gaming trash chair.

@OrbitalBuzzsaw, the problem is that only THEY sell it themselves, so that would mean I have to look for a nearby showroom.

 

@dizmo, sorry but the Herman Millers are not within my budget . It IS true that whenever they throw "gaming" onto a product, most of the time it is just for marketing, but I think the Titan might be one of the few exceptions. Have you tried it?

@dizmo, actually some Herman Millers ARE within my budget, just googled some the only problem is not all of them have head support.

There's also other models than the Aeron that are cheaper, as well as other ergonomic companies.

 

Why do you need head support?

@dizmo I don't necessarily NEED head support, I'd just like to rest my head, however the lumbar support is important for me. Now that you mentioned Herman Miller, do you know where I could try them? I searched on officedepot.com but they have none.

You'd have to look up specialty stores. Probably office supply related ones. They might have a listing on the Herman Miller website for retailers.

The nice thing about the HM chairs is you can just add head support later. I've sat in them, they're awesome. Plus the backs don't get super sweaty like a regular chair.

@dizmo, thanks for the great info. Now, I heard great things about Steelcase chairs, which do you prefer? Have you tried them? I'm "YouTubing" the Steelcase Gesture right now and it seems amazing

 

 

I wonder if the Herman Millers have those many features
