Hi, I'm having a bit of an issue. I screwed in 9 standoffs on my case, but my mobo has room for 10 (there's an extra hole for a standoff near the first pcie slot to support heavy video cards). Problem is, I only have nine standoffs. I didn't install one in the center of the mobo, and I'm worried the weight of my card will pose a risk. This is my first build. Thoughts?

Welcome to the Forums!

Shouldn't be an issue as some don't even have a screw in the center just a pin for alignment but if you want to be safe it doesn't hurt to throw in a screw as long as there is a standoff behind it.

Thanks for the reply!

Actually, that was why I made the post, there's no standoff behind it and I don't have any extras from the case.

technically removing a screw from one of the bottom corners and putting it there would reduce flex, but it makes basically no difference. I doubt it would cause any damage whatsoever. also adding a standoff.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Great, I spent the better part of yesterday just getting the board in the case and figuring out cabling, so I was kind of dreading taking it off lol.
