Are there any M-ATX or M-ITX Z370 motherboards that are actually worth upgrading to?

So, I'm moving across the country to study in august. I've currently built a nice machine that will likely serve me nicely:

- 8600K

- Noctua NH-U12S with extra fan

- Asus TUF B360M

- 16GB 3000MHz CL15

- EVGA 1070 FTW2

- Seasonic Focus plus 650w (I know it's overkill)

+ a bunch of Noctua fans and Samsung SSDs in a Cooler Master q300l

I got the b360 really cheap, and it seems to serve me well. I do however have some money at hand. I'm looking to replace it with a Z370 board and get a nice OC on both CPU and memory.

I love the Asus motherboard experience, the ROG and Strix boards I've owned and their BIOS have served me really well. However, the Z370G and Z370I seem to be really subpar in the VRM area.

The only M-ATX/M-ITX board that seems to have adequate VRMs is the EVGA Z370 Micro board. It looks like a great option, except I've heard nothing good about the EVGA BIOSes that aren't for the X299 Dark. I'm only rehashing what I've read on forums etc, but the BIOSes seem borderline terrible. Their LLC options are severely limited etc.

I may have missed something, but the all the ASRock, MSI and Gigabyte options I have seen look like cheap, compact boards. It doesn't seem to me like any of the M-ATX/M-ITX boards are "premium" enough, both heardware and firmware, to justify an upgrade for me. So what do you think?

TL;DR: Is there a M-ATX/M-ITX Z370 motherboard that is actually worth upgrading to, from my B360M?
