Just like Apple, Google will ban hammer crytomining apps on Google Play

I'm the Apple fanboy. TBH I've always found Apple's implementation of emulators much better, but that depends.

Apple allows Emulators on the app store? I wasn't aware they allow apps to freely runsigned code, let alone code not even compiled for ARM (lots of MIPS code, actually). :P

Too bad they have control over play store.

People tend to assume that the entirety of Android phones’ software is open source but little do they know that Google Play services are 100% proprietary. The Android source code however or AOSP is the one that’s open source. Which is why an Amazon Fire tablet is an Android tablet minus the Play Store.

I think this is more of XCode for the Mac but Apple still controls what apps are allowed or not in the App Store.

This was a while ago, they were pretty popular on jailbroken phones from Cydia, Rock and Ice etc. N64 emulation was pretty spot on.

I think this a great move for both Apple and Google Play Store. Banning this cryptocurrency mining extensions will prevent all malicious software developers who abuses Play Store guidelines. I also hope that they will put some restrictions in applications that attracts children but contain adult themes.

Why would anyone want to mine crypto on their phone in the first place?

i call it lottery mining:

1. take an old phone

2. make it mine btc

3. don't join a pool, do it on your own

4. hope for the best

5. if your lucky your puny old phone might be the one to solve the final hash, hence the lottery bit

6. current lottery reward: 12 btc

One day I will be able to play Monster Hunter Frontier in French/Italian/English on my PC, it's just a matter of time... 4 5 6 7 8 9 years later: It's finally coming!!!

Phones: iPhone 4S/SE | LG V10 | Lumia 920 | Samsung S24 Ultra

Laptops: Macbook Pro 15" (mid-2012) | Compaq Presario V6000

Other: Steam Deck

Let’s see. Google has Hangouts, Allo and Messages. Will Google ban themselves though? xD

Would be hilarious xD

Sure. Totally.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.
