I don't really think it would. It'd also have to be a sufficiently large monitor, otherwise I would imagine the curved effect gets annoying to look at if you can see the monitor in its entirety easily.

Curved monitors give great immersion, but it depends how far youre sitting away from it

 

If going ultrawide, definitely look for a curved one
