Case for an R9 290 and an AIO

csakstar

I originally bought a MasterBox Lite 5 since it was on sale and matched the color scheme for my build, however it is in fact an oven and is causing thermal throttling of the GPU. The build that I'm putting together is an FX 8320 w/ CoolerMaster MasterLiquid 240, an XFX R9 290 (980Mhz core out of the box), a Biostar TA970 v5.2 (red and black), and an EVGA 750 B2. I'm looking for a case with good enough airflow that will support this set up without throttling. I know the 290's run hot anyway, I don't care about temps as long as it doesn't throttle. I'm looking to spend around $35 dollars if possible. Any suggestions?

too little budget tbh. Why not take off the side panels and call that job done?

I'm looking to sell the system. If it was for me I would have no problem doing that.

Sounds like a Black and Red theme. For $35 you can get the Deep Cool Tesseeract in Red. If you want something more Modern (and perhaps more marketable) The Fractal Design Focus G in Red ($50)
