Posted July 24, 2018 Looking for a good air heat sink that'll fit in my build. Will attach a picture of it at the bottom. Simplified question, need a air cooling heat sink that can fit in the case. Cooler right there was being used for my i3-8100. I'm certain it's only good for temporary use for my 8700k. I'm sorry for seeming incompetent. You can have it shipped to silicon lottery if you don't want to do it yourself. Would have highly suggested an R5 2600 + GTX 1070ti instead ya.... But yes thanks for your information you've been helpful your uncle will smack you if you say that about their cpu's not worth 45 bucks in my opinion, you will be just fine with a big cooler, your temps will lower, the thermal paste it good from the noctua guys and be quiet guys so you are fine (it is included), noise will be lower if you go with a high end cooler, my 8700k is 5.0 hgz at 70 under load, tho i am in a 15 C ambient temps with a drp3 no deliding (but that may be just my chip). If you want to overclock a fair bit go with a high end cooler, if you do not want to touch voltages then do not bother unless you do it for noise reduction or looks.
