Cheap PG278q or newer monitor

Hi i just found a deal for a very good conditioned pg278q (300$) is this a good deal or should i just get a newer monitor?

Where? 'good condition'? Have you seen it? 
What do you want from your monitor? Compare this to the above model

How much are you willing to pay? How much would a new(er) monitor cost?

Yes monitor is in very good shape.

 

Just an Auxilliary monitor, i have a PG279q as my main driver. 

 

Im ok to pay 300$ a new IPS monitor might cost 200$ but 278q is TN and quite an old model so a bit conflicted. Its like 50% than normal price though

I love new TN but for a aux monitor IPS is the way to go, get a cheap ips for 150$-180$ (27 inch) viewing angles on tn are a nightmare and secondary screens tend to be on an angle :P
