Cheap PG278q or newer monitor

Hi i just found a deal for a very good conditioned pg278q (300$) is this a good deal or should i just get a newer monitor?

What do you want from your monitor? Compare this to the above model

Yes monitor is in very good shape.

 

Just an Auxilliary monitor, i have a PG279q as my main driver. 

 

Im ok to pay 300$ a new IPS monitor might cost 200$ but 278q is TN and quite an old model so a bit conflicted. Its like 50% than normal price though

I love new TN but for a aux monitor IPS is the way to go, get a cheap ips for 150$-180$ (27 inch) viewing angles on tn are a nightmare and secondary screens tend to be on an angle
