Stoked laptop in backpack in surprise rainstorm

I was walking to my class at wake and my laptop unfortunately got soaked in my backpack. I have not turned on since and I have dryed off all of the visible water on the surface. The machine in question is a ASUS ROG GL503 with a 1070. The water was inside on the screen and on keyboard so I assume that it reaches the Mobo and stuff. I don't currently have access to a screw driver what do y'all recommend? Good thing the fucker is insured...? But in all seriousness could I save it for use throught the rest of the week?

Update I opened it up and there doesn't seem to be any water inside so I'ma not the bitch up

I recommended getting a big bag of rice or silica gel packets and leave it to dry out for 24 to 72 hours. Just due to the size of this I would stick to 72 hours and try to use silica gel packets. Its not a guarantee fix but it may save you having to send it in under warranty. And whatever you do DON'T TURN THAT SHIT ON IF THERE ANY WATER IN IT!

Edit: wait are you saying the water is inside the screen or inside on the screen?

Don't turn it on! If you see any corrosion on the internals, send it in for the insurance. Look at Louis Rossmann's video on the topic.
