Looking for a new pair of speakers [Music, Gaming & Movies]

I'm considering getting some speakers for my desk to use when I want to not use my DT990's for a while. I would probably mainly use them for music with some Movies and Gaming alongside that.

My friend suggested I get these: https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/SPKLOG4125431/Logitech-G560-21-LIGHTSYNC-PC-RGB-Gaming-Speaker-G

But I kinda don't like the look and how they are "gaming" themed (I prefer the wood of the first)...

 

I might even consider getting the Edifier's and a separate SUB but if I am doing that I might be better off getting a different set of speakers.

 

I'm fairly new to buying speakers so don't really know what to look for, and would like some suggestions. Another thing to note is I can only buy from www.pbtech.co.nz atm so please limit suggestions to whats available there I'm also aiming to not spend over 600NZD for the Speakers+Sub preferably closer to 450-500...

 

Anyway hopefully you guys can help me get a better idea of what I should be looking for :)
