Voting Optical since it's my main mouse (G502), however my work mouse is laser. Also the optical is the one I consciously bought, not the one I was given.

Both actually, my main one has a laser but the other ones are all optical.

And tbh i don't care which one i use, they all feel good enough and i use anything from cheap 1 dollar junk up to expensive logitech stuff.
