BIOS of a laptop on a monitor.

So i have a laptop with a broken screen. I thought of reusing it and connected it with an external monitor. Things were good till i realised that the laptop doesn't send any signals to the monitor while in boot and i really need to acces a boot setting.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Maybe a possibility but just because you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't there.  When you first turn it on go ahead and spam the F10 and/or the DELETE key in an attempt to get into the BIOS and see if that works and lets you in.

Do you know exactly what setting you need to change? If so, you may be able to find the screens on google, or youtube to use at a reference and go at it blind

If you're technically inclined enough you could take your laptop apart, disconnect the built-in monitor on the motherboard, and maybe it would default to external output? Never dealt with using laptops on external monitors, so I have no idea if this will work.
