Seagate BUP Slim 2TB Drive Failure error on HD Sentinel although the drive is working fine.

I have a Seagate BUP Slim 2TB Blue (STDR2000302) and the following irritating error is appearing since I installed Hard Disk Sentinel Pro 5.30: "Failure Predicted - Attribute: 5 Reallocated Sectors Count, Count of sectors moved to the spare area. Indicate problem with the disk surface or the read/write heads.
There are 45144 bad sectors on the disk surface. The contents of these sectors were moved to the spare area.
396 errors occurred during data transfer.
In case of sudden system crash, reboot, blue-screen-of-death, inaccessible file(s)/folder(s), it is recommended to verify data and power cables, connections - and if possible try different cables to prevent further problems.
More information:
https://www.hdsentinel.com/hard_disk_case_communication_error.php
Replace hard disk immediately.

It is recommended to backup immediately to prevent data loss."

I literally have no issues as such with the drive though. Read /Write speeds are exactly as they should be. Data is copying, pasting & moving perfectly. I have performed the Short DST test on SeaTools: Passed. Also passed the short test on HDS as well.
What could be the issue?

One thing more: The drive serial number shown by the Sentinel does not match the actual serial no. printed on the back of my hard drive (see attached screen). Why so ?

(PFA)

PS: I have formatted it to ReFS since the day I received it. Could this error be related to that?

Short S.M.A.R.T.-test doesn't do a surface-scan, you should do the full surface-scan instead. Then again, it's quite pointless to do that, since HDS already tells you that you have a shitton of bad sectors on the disk. Back your stuff up and replace the drive, 45k bad sectors is frickin' terrible.

But there is no problem in the drive as such. I play AAA Titles off of it and still ain't an issue. So why is HDS fuckin' with me ?

Hello D33P,

I checked your serial number and it seems to be valid, it shows different because inside the external unit you are using there is an Internal Notebook Hard Drive.

You better use Seatools for reviewing the hard drive:

Yes, in SeaTools it shows the xorrect serial number as you can see in the screenshots provided. So, what's the deal with Hard Disk Sentinel showing such irritating errors of 45k bad sectors and it's saying me to replace the drive immediately while there is no direct problem in the drive usage. All speeds are proper and temperatures too. Surface scans didn't revealed any error too. I just don't know what the hell is happening to Hard Disk Sentinel! I just uninstalled it for the moment.

That's ok! You can leave it uninstalled for the moment. The values that might be read out by third-party SMART software are not based on how the values may be used within the Seagate hard drives. If the values that you are seeing with a third party SMART utility are not displaying properly or seem to be false, please contact your software vendor for further explanation of the values.

That's alright.
