Random pick squares appearing on screen

Ive recently started noticing these random pink squares that appear on my screen. I first noticed this when I opened League of Legends and when the match was about to start, this random pink square appeared and took up about 1/4 of the screen. I then today opened CS:GO and noticed the same issue. Strangely enough this only happens in league of legends and CS:GO, as Metro Last light, and Warframe have never shown this pink square. Is my gpu dying? Or is it a simple graphical error?

 

It only happens once per session (When the game first starts) and sometimes doesnt happen at all. The square doesnt stay on screen for long, probably less than 1/4 of a second. Has anyone experienced this and does anybody have a possible solution?

I have a GTX 1060 3gb DUAL OC from Asus.

Oh i already made a post on the league forums. Thought rito fucked up again. But probably nvidea then.

I have kind of the same issue. Every new loadingscreen in league flashed pink. Haven't noticed it in other games yet. But i havent had much time to game lately. Im running a gtx 970 btw

I have the same problem which started from a week or so ago.

 

I unplugged/replugged the displayport wire which changed it from the same size square as your picture to a pink flash on the screen. Changing to an hdmi cable stops the issue, although I do get a screen jutter still. Thought it may be an hardware issue but it seems coincidental now.

 

I too have a GTX 1060 3gb.

 

Sorry I can't offer any solution, i'm struggling same as you but thought the extra info may help in case we have the same issue.

Might be a coincidence but when I open the game the discord overlay appears right when the pink square disappears. It might be caused by the discord overlay being shown when in a group call, because ive noticed ive always been in a call when it happens.

Maybe it could be discord. But im almost never in a call when it happens.

Hmm. For me, whenever I play Metro Last Light Im always alone and not in a call. But League and csgo im always or almost always in a call.
