What cpu for a gtx 1080?

Hey guys,

I want to get a cpu for a gtx 1080 that  good for gaming and doesnt cost more than 240 euros.

Any platform you want to be on? Because honestly I would recommend a Ryzen 2600x.

Currently have an XFX RX 7900 XTX with a Ryzen 5 5600x.

what socket? I'd say the 8600k but I think it's over E240 (dunno how to type the symbol)

The 8400 might be good but a Ryzen chip might be better price/performance, a 1700 maybe
