Motherboard won't boot

I have a Problem

 

Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus Gene viii

CPU: Intel i5-8400

GPU: GTX 1050ti

PSU: SL 500K 500W

240GB Kingston M.2

8GB DDR4-2400 G-Skill RAM

 

I tried to start my PC but the Motherboard wont boot. The Power-LED is on but pressing it has no affect, it won't start or even show a error-code.

I've stripped each part which isn't necessary, looked if I dameged the CPU or something else. I swapped the CMOS-battery. 

I have no clue what could be damaged so pls help.

If i'm not wrong the mobo you have is for 6th gen intel CPUs and you have an 8th gen cpu?

the motherboard is for 6th/7th GEN CPUs. (7700/7600/6700/6600)
