Can my power supply and motherboard handle a 1050?

Rotex

I bought this pc from eBay about a year  ago, and I later realised that this was a bad idea, but I bought it because I didn’t want to play any games on it and also I don’t know how to build one, so I just bought a pre-built one. Right now I’m trying to play fortnite on it but it looks like I’m playing on a ps1; the graphics are absolutely horrible so I’ve decided to buy a gtx 1050 gpu but I don’t know if my motherboard or my power supply can handle it. Im not sure wich motherboard I have but i do know wich power supply and it’s a atx-500cb

PS I Currently have a gtx 710 gpu

Yes.  That's enough power for a 1050.  The 1050 will draw less than your 710 actually.

A no-name unit powering a dGPU? That's questionable. I'd replace it with something like a Corsair CX450 or Cooler Master MasterWatt as soon as you can afford to.

Are you sure? because the GTX 1050 does 70W under maximum load

The GT 710 should do 30W or even lower, it is a very basic card

You're right, it does have a lower power draw.  I was thinking 750ti or something.  Either way, though, the PSU will be fine.
