My Pc is turning off

Hey, I really need some help and advice would be amazing. So I was playing overwatch with some  friends and my pc cause is a bit open to let air in because of the location it’s in. (Can’t put it anywhere else) While I was playing my cousin asked me to play I told him after I was done a few seconds later he put his damn finger in my running pc and touch the cpu’s Cooler fan, when he did a blade broke off and my whole pc just shut down. A few weeks later I got a replacement, then the weirdest thing happened. When I got to the desktop screen my pc would shut down and not come back on again, I took it to the repair guy multiple times but it comes back with the same issue even though it’s not hot and the thermal past has been replaced. The time it takes to shut down can be instan of and hour, and idk what to do. I have not been able to play anything for almost to months, and I really can’t stand it

any help would be really great

tell your idiot cousin to pay for a new motherboard. The erratic fan movement could've messed with the PWM header and made the computer think a cpu fan isn't plugged in. and remind the fool not to go sticking things into critical, sensitive components.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Trash beauty:

Xeon X5560RX 570 4GB (defective) -Fattydove Racing 240GB - WD Blue 320GBHP Z400 - 6x2GB DDR3 1066 - EVGA 450W3

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

i recommend getting your current board the RMA treatment, as it's probably still in warranty.

You could disable the CPU fan detection in your motherboard bios and just plug the CPU fan into another PWM header, but then if your CPU fan does ever die, there is no protection to shut the PC down automatically other than thermal shutdown. You should be getting a CPU fan error on startup here and there if this is what it is though from my experience. Do you have another cooler you can try like the stock cooler or something? Some air coolers are really cheap too so you could just pick up a dirt cheap one to try.

I wish I could but I had the asus m5a97 le r2.0 but I’ll have to bring it in and I can’t find a new 1 that has a reliable source. And the pc was given by a friend that shipped it here a couple months ago he went to the army

Contact asus and give them the serial number on the motherboard. They'll tell you if it's in warranty and when to send it in for repairs.

If they give it back and it's still the same, you'd want to see if there are ways to test other components.
