apu I keep getting a blue screen saying video tdr failure

So I just finished making my PC and now every time I try to open a game it says video tdr failure atikmpag.sys someone help me out bruh

This might be a noobie question but how do I install my chipset drivers? I have the MSI Pro VDH B350

What CPU do you have?

Go to the AMD website and MSI website and find everything pertaining to your CPU and motherboard. Alot of the files you download are simple .exe files and don't require instruction. An update to your BIOS will be the only difficult part and it really isn't difficult. It's just different.

The one you were using wasn't meant for Windows 10 and also not meant for the 2400G. I didn't notice it wasn't for your CPU at first because I am not familiar with AMD's architecture naming scheme yet so I felt dumb because I didn't notice the obvious answer to why it wasn't working for you.

 

Have you downloaded the correct version yet?

I'm pretty sure it was for windows 10 because it asked me what windows I was using and I chose windows 10

It had Windows 7 drivers though so I think MSI kind of dropped the ball. But it's irrelevant now we know it is for the wrong AMD CPUs.

 

Yeah I went back to their site to check and if you select Windows 7 64 that package is there.

Right the .zip file and extract the contents someplace you can find the extracted files. After it is extracted then open the folder Raven 17.40.3765 and run the Setup.
