K95 platinum rgb media button issues

Everytime I press the media buttons the keyboard freezes. In other words the lighting stays still if its in rainbow mode and nothing work. The lights are on and thats it. The only thing I can do to revert from this situation is to disconnect the keyboard, unistall the drivers and replug the keyboard. That  is the only way for the software to detect the keyboard and let it work again.

 

Any solutions? I am interested in using those buttons to their max potential
