WD TV Live Now Supports DTS-HD MA Passthrough

Good News Everyone!!

WD TV Live Now OFFICIALLY supports DTS-HD MA passthrough with the new 2.01.86 firmware update to the player.

Full Release note: http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/updates/?family=wdfwdtv_live_G3

That's awesome! Probably one of the few reasons I've held back on buying one (Which is silly, since I don't even have a receiver that supports DTS-HD or TrueHD).

Does it (Or will it via a planned update) support Dolby TrueHD? The link doesn't say.

For Sale: Meraki Bundle

CAUTION!

FOR THOSE WHO USE WD TV LIVE WITH NETWORK SHARES. DO NOT USE THIS UPDATE YET. THIS UPDATE BREAKS THE NETWORK SHARE FUNCTION COMPLETELY. I WILL KEEP THIS THREAD UPDATED WITH MORE INFO. MEANWHILE, IF YOU DO NOT MIND THE NETWORK SHARE BROKENESS.... FEEL FREE TO DO AS YOU WISH.

Where can you get content that has Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD MA? Awesome.

Generally speaking? You rip it from your legally purchased Blu-Ray. That's what I do in any case. I don't know if any of the streaming services support HD Audio yet.
