Case fans are forced to 100% when CPU temp reaches 75c

I am using a ASUS motherboard and this is absoloutley rediculous. I understand why they do this for the CPU fan speed, but why the case fans? Is there anyway to disable this restriction?

You should be able to set the curves in the bios if not you can try speedfan

I can set curves in the bios up to 75c. The bios wont let me change the curve after 75c though

I'd prefeer not to download more stupid software and just do it from the bios if I can

You just said that you can't go about 75 c in the bios, so you only options are to disable that and use software or buy a fan controller.

AI suite 3 is an Asus utility that should be listed on your mobo's downloads page and allows you to push the "Critical Temperature" past 75c on any fan via this toggle:

Like vorticalbox said, the only option you have now is a physical fan controller or software.
