Will my CPU bottleneck a GTX 1080?

As the title says, will my i5 4690k @4.4Ghz bottleneck a GTX 1080?

 

I have 16Gb ram and I am using a Gigabyte G1 Sniper b6 mobo.

My 4690k just barely bottlenecked a 1070, just barely. So, I believe that a 1080 might be slightly bottlenecked by a 4690k. However, I don't think it'll be to the degree that it'll be a deal breaker

I'd say that depends on the resolution you're playing at; there'll probably be a(bigger) bottleneck at 1080p than at 4K(if you'd experience bottlenecking at that resolution at all). Although I think knowing the games/applications you play/use would help in judging if you will experience bottlenecking and how much it'd be.

At 1080p, yes in a few games it will. Just lock the framerate.

Do u game at 4K ,2K or 1080p

I am playing at 1440p @75hz (planning on getting a 144hz monitor)

The games I play are ARK, GTA V, PUBG, The Forest, F1... 

I am also running a dedicated ARK server while playing with my friends from time to time.

I would get a 1070ti because its cheaper and will have less of a bottleneck and is just barely less powerful than a 1080.
