That's entirely up to you, RGB is a personal preference. But I think $40 extra for RGB is a total ripoff...

As @panther420 said, if you prefer rgb then go for it. If you don't and all you care about is performance, it'll go to the type of key swicthes that you want. Performance wise there is no difference, just the different types of key switches. If you're on a budget, 40$ for rgb isn't that worth it .
