Phanteks p350x RGB + Asus Prime Pro x470

Moonie87

Cabling up my new build. The case has, what I'm lead to believe is a d RGB cable (pictured).

Looking at my mobo and it's manual, it looks like it's just got 4 pin RGB headers, whereas the pictured cable has 3 pin holes.

I'm like, 10s out of practice with building and haven't done a RGB project before, so if anyone can tell me what I've got wrong, or misunderstood, or how to work around this that would be great!

That's your RGB header yes, but it's not a 4 pin RGB, it's a 3 pin Addressable RGB (more advanced technically) Your board uses the "older" RGB 4 pin. I do not know if you can plug that into the normal 4 pin header, so for now I wouldn't plug it in because it might break something if power isnt being delivered correctly.
