GTX 1080 problem? Or Monitor problem

Stevers108

Hello all, I'm having an odd problem and can't seem to figure out the solution. Recently, I've noticed that my dual screen monitor flickers. But, the odd thing is that the application flickers black for about a split second, not the entire screen. I mainly notice it when I tab back into Youtube on Mozilla or go onto my other monitor and tab into Discord. I haven't tried swapping out the cables yet, but I plan to ASAP. Its barely noticeable but nonetheless, I'm a bit nervous (I'm just hoping its not my graphics card, it's barely a year old...). Any advice?

Also, I am up to date on all Nvidea drivers and have had both monitors roughly 4-5 years now.

Thanks guys!

Steve

What interface is that monitor plugged into? It might be intermittent signal over the cable or the monitor's I/O dying

One monitor is plugged in Via HDMI while the other is a DVI cable
