$200 to taxi me from Seattle to LTX and back

Keystone Nyan Cat
Go to solution Solved by Keystone Nyan Cat,

Someone has just taken me up on my offer; I am no longer seeking a rideshare (yes- I'm actually shelling out that much money just to get there from the start :P). Thanks for all the help and suggestions though, I appreciate it; see you all at the event! :)

I'm looking for a single seat on a ride to LTX (Richmond, Canada) on July 14th, 2018 from people planning on reaching at/before 10:00AM and staying until it closes at about 5:30/6:00PM. I don't mind giving you $150 $200 for your troubles for ferrying me as an additional passenger; please PM me if you're interested, and thanks!

PS- I am aware of the Amtrak and Boltbus; but they reach Canada after the event starts and departs well before the event gets over so it doesn't match the events schedule. I'd rather not pay out more than I have to for a hotel stay (asked around, it's like $150-$200 a night) and have someone pick and drop me off during the day of the event so I have Friday and Sunday available to myself. If you dig into my post history, I've actually splurged enough on a plane ticket to get to Seattle; don't want to spend any more, haha.

Edit- US Dollars, not Canadian :P

I recommend using busbud. Bussing will probably be the most convenient.

You'd only miss about an hour in the morning if you took the Greyhound, and honestly I'd bet you won't be missing much as they'll be dealing with everyone entering.

I've been following Linus since close to a decade and don't want to miss any time if at all possible- hell, I'm considering spending two nights in Vancouver just to be there for the events entirety :P

Haha I don't think an hour would really mean much of anything :P

If you're going to stay in Van (preferably Richmond), I'd avoid hotels. They're going to be ultra inflated right now. Try and find a nice B&B. You can get them for under $100 a night usually.

Get an air bnb. I did that this past time for $30 a night.
