Optiplex 790 PCIE Slot not showing up

My GTX 660 is not showing up in bios on my optiplex 790, I have bios updated to a2. Help please.

Is your Optiplex a Mid/Mini or Small formfactor?  The Small, does not have the connector for a GTX 660, and the Mid tower requires the upgraded power supply, which was only available for custom built i5 & i7 versions.  The low end 265W PSU does not have the connector, nor the power to drive that video card.  If you don't have the upgraded PSU, then you'll need to order a PSU.  Good news for the Mid tower is it will accept a standard ATX PSU.  You're out of luck if you have the Small formfactor.

Thanks, already figured it out, in the bios I changed it from legacy to Uefi works fine now.

Not sure how the UEFI affects it in that way, but I'm glad you got it working.
