NZXT S340 (Non-elite) vs NZXT S340 elite

S James

Do these cases have any major difference? (I know about the HDMI, TG and 2 USB slots)

Is there any major difference in build quality, cable management, airflow or anything else I should know of?

For me, the difference between s340 and s340 elite is $40, and hence I am more inclined towards s340

Aside from the differences you mentioned, they're basically the same case in terms of cable management and airflow.

I'm not 100% about build quality, but I have the original S340 and I'd say the build quality is pretty good.

I believe elite has rubber cable holders so better for cable management in that regard.

That is what someone told me. Is that true? Isn't the insides of both the elite and non elite same? Some ppl say yes while some say no.

For eg, in one of the Amazon reviews a guy said to buy the NZXT elite as it has better build quality, more durable, is that true?

Both have the same build quality, pretty much all steel.

The difference is the glass window (which some people might consider "more durable") and the SSD tray on the front PSU shroud.

Other than that it's pretty much the same.

The internals are !00% the same EXCEPT for the additional SSD mount on the "front" of the PSU shroud.

The new NZXT H500 has the rubber cable trays the user mentioned. The S340 Elite does not. You can see good examples in the Blue Build in my signature where I used that exact case. NZXT Simply took a good existing case, added TG a new SSD mount, two added USB 2.0's, and a HDMI pass through (fairly unique in the case world). Both cases are the same build quality otherwise.
