I got a lot of suggestions for performance over looks quite a lot but my stubborn ass is now accepting it. My budget had also changed so this is what I'm going for:

Is this build good enough for the 240hz monitor

This, since you arent overclocking there is no reason to go with a K series processor

I would recommend a 8th gen, because the 7700 is the best cpu in the 7th gen so you would need a new MoBo to upgrade your cpu. Depending on your settings in game and what games you play it depends if you would get 240 Hz with a 1070 Ti.

Intel Core i7 8700 is what i'm gonna aim for, what mobo should I get thats cheap
