Hotels have been trying to get one up on people for a while. It's harder to charge money for wired connections (because cheap home routers and MAC cloning). The FCC had to tell Mariott to stop fucking with people's wifi and pay a fine and the hotels have tried to get the FCC to let them wilfully interfere with cellfi hotspots and force people to use the hotel wifi.

The hotel looks amazing!

 

But do anyone know what the space pods at 8:54 (video) are? And if so: Are they common and is it possible to buy them in the western market (and at what price)
