Need a headphone extension station thingy

My headphone cable is a bit too short, and I don't want to use the longer one because of how bulky it is. I was looking for a stand or station of some sorts that would connect to my desktop and allow me to plug my headphones (and microphone) into it...sort of like an audio interface. It would be nice to have a volume dial as well. Is there something like this that I could pick up for cheap - less than $20?

The only thing that crosses my mind are the Logitech Z200 speakers (if you don’t have desktop speakers already). These speakers are shockingly good considering the dirt cheap price. The bass is a bit boomy but it’s still a decent experience. You can simply plug your headphones in one of the speakers and use the knob to adjust the volume.
