At what age did you play your first PC game & do you remember the first game that You played on it?

I played my first PC game for maybe only a few minutes, it was some racing game when i was probably around five years old. The first PC game I played on my own PC was Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 from 2000, played when I was around 13.

Probably like 7 or 8, I think one of the first actual games was either Diablo II or Starcraft. I'd play on an ancient white box PC that initially ran I think Windows 2000, but was updated to XP.

Table tennis on an Atari 2600 or pong on the old tempest. Can't quite remember which was first because it was like 82.

i dont remember what the first game was because it was too long ago but it was some kind of racing game that i played at about 5 years old on a commodore 128.

 

shortly after that my grandma bought a used PC with windows 3.11 and some kind of early windows 95 version that you only booted into when you wanted to use a text editor.

The first game that get me into pc gaming was Need for Speed Underground 2, that shit was the bomb! very impressed with the graphics at that time

First game that blew me away in terms of realism was Battlefield 3, as the most graphically impressive game I had played up to then was Halo 2, I had just got a PS3 and the BF3 beta came out and it really blew my mind.

Fun fact not everyone knows. It's only a demo, there's a full version out there.

Oh man, i was waaay to young, if i had to guess... like 8 years old?(when i played games on PC, i did play Gameboy, etc stuff earlier) or maybe even younger? poor people that had to play with me

I wanna say 7 or 8 and it was those kinda weird MathBlaster grade school games.  Then when I was 10 or so I got into Civilization III one of if not the greatest Civ game out there.

First PC game I played was "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" in elementary school.   Maybe I played a game called "Donkey" before that in my Dad's office on bring your kid to work day.  Think this was in the late 80's.  First game that blew my mind was Wolfenstien maybe?  That was my neighbors so I won't count that I guess.  I'll give that crown to Oblivion which came out many years later.

I was probably about 5-6 and played Rome Total War on my cousins PC whenever I went round. Good times, 15+ units of elephant cavalry vs 1 peasant unit. Fun AF

Mahjong on a old floppy disk on a old windows 98 Laptop. i was like 6-7

Probably 4 or 5 with some DOS game. Could have been pinball. Other was bartending game. In some other thread I've found pic also. After that it was solitaire and minesweeper Worms 1 was the game that really sparked PC gaming interest.

4. I need help with this one though I don't have high hopes. It was an old game where you were walking as a robot and pushing/sliding stuff to make a way, finding keys etc. Sokoban style but with a robot. Can't remember

I was like 8 or something, early 90s. Friend's mom bought a pc with Win 3.11 and we play some football game (soccer) and Prince of Persia that come in floppy disk. We were barely able get past stage 3 of Prince Of Persia that time. It was the original "Dark Souls" for me.

The year...1987.  the system....Tandy 1000.  The game....Chuck Yeager's Flight Simulator. The monitor....a small green and black crt screen.  I was 7 years old at the time. The other game was a Ford test driving simulator on an old IBM portable with a green screen built in with 2 floppy drives. An early rendition of a laptop.
