cracked Razer Blade Stealth

Without embarrassing myself more than I already hella am. Lets just say I'm an idiot and cracked my new thin and light. A little more than a month after I got it. I contacted razer and told me i only had to buy the replacement parts and not the labor or shipping. Which would be cool except the LCD costs about $400. Now the display, as far as i can tell, is working perfectly fine, no dead pixels or anything. There is a lag when i adjust the brightness but I'm unsure if that's related. I go to a university and everyday i see people with laptops that are cracked way worse being used all the time, the crack is mostly below the display and is actually very easy to ignore. Is there any long term issues that may arise if i wait to send it back. I got the laptop hella discounted because, i imagine, they were pushing the new one with the 8th gen CPU, plus the student discount that used the percentage of the original price and not the discounted price. Needless to say im a broke college kid and can't afford to drop everything and fix something that is basically working fine. I almost never used the touch screen anyways. I can provide pictures if necessary.

With cracked displays it all depends on how and where it is cracked.

I have seen bleeding of the LCD screen (Black, almost puddle like spots on the LCD) etc.

I have also seen vertical and/or horizontal lines pop up every now and again.

I have also seen screens going black on a specific part of the screen (maybe 1/3rd of the screen etc).

Bad luck dude, I usually got my replacement LCDs from Ebay by searching the model number etc and replacing it myself. But I don't always recommend that as the laptop could still have warranty, or the LCD could be DoA when shipping, all sorts of scenarios.

Cheers.
