Laptop won't boot after attempting to replace CPU

Hey yall,

I have an Acer Aspire 7750 laptop that i just tried to switch out the CPU in, and after the switch, i attempted to boot the computer. The power light glowed blue, but instead of booting up to the "starting Windows" screen, the computer shut off after about 3 seconds and then immediately turned back on, doing this in a cycle. I attempted to switch the cpu back, but it seems that it still wont cooperate. I will give as much info as i see necessary for now, but you can ask for me to give you any further specific information about the laptop.

*motherboard: Acer JE70_HR

     *G2 socket

*Windows 7, 64-bit

*original processor: 2nd gen Intel Core i3 2350M @ 2.3 Ghz

*replacement processor: 2nd gen Intel Core i3 ______  (i would turn on this pc and open the device manager but i unfortunately can't find the charging cable for it, hence the reason why i'm using it as my donor laptop for the one i usually use. Also, it's case is in terrible condition)

*i plugged in every wire connector that i disconnected

*i reapplied enough thermal paste onto the CPU

I know there has been discussion relating to this on other forums, but none of them have been of any help to me. I hope someone can help me figure this out. Thanks in advance!

@Srnewbee i made sure the fan is plugged in correctly and screwed on tight, and that there is no dust/hair causing it to not spin.

@avg123 i cannot access the bios, as the monitor doesnt actually turn on before the pc clicks off. I havent replaced cpus before, but i had a few of my pals helping me along the way and making sure i didnt screw anything up. I didnt force the cpu in or not apply enough thermal paste, so cpu damage is out of the question. And honestly im good with piecing hardware together, just not knowing the names of some of the stuff im working with

if the fans are running when you press power, check the ram. It may be displaced.
