Can i clean my pc with a hair dryer ?

GirvanaWantsBinnieBalls

Its high time i clean my pc off from dust...

Will a hair dryer do ? Are there any dangers involving this procedure ?

Wont the dust be pushed to the mobo if i do it that way ?

1: hair dryers get hot, you dont want to risk anything on that end

2: they don't have enough force to do a great job at removing dust. Get a can of compressed air

It's just a high-powered fan so I don't see why not. I'd say just turn the heat off and keep a safe distance from the components. Compressed air is always the best solution, it will be way better at picking up dust.

I doubt a hair drying can create enough pressure to actually do anything

I honestly have a hard time seeing a hairdryer being able to accomplish that, of course, if its a more powerful one it might work, but you will get much better results with a can of compressed air.

Well it will work tries it out many times just get a strong one because from 4 units,  I tested only one gave me decent results others just raised some dust but left the thickest parts untouched. And don't even dare turning it to hot mode it can cause damage but its a great alternative for compressed air if you don't have any. But you will probably still need to take a rag and clean it manually.

Hey if a hair dryer is safe for this guy's pubes, it's safe for your pc!

Just keep it away from any components. Those things are static electricity generators.
