Intel I7 out off Stock

Go to solution Solved by Hashiba,

Hi, the 8086K is going to be released next Friday but I doubt that would cause a massive stock fluctuation, it is a niche product. I've just checked and the processors seem to be available rn on Amazon US at least, which one were you looking for specifically?

So I am building my first PC soon and I wanted to ask if it is just me or are big Services (Amazon, Intel, etc.) out off stock

And when are new cores arriving?

I can see the i7 chip is stock by the most big retailers in the USA. and for the second question, there are (from what I know) no new chips announced, and if there is it will take a long time before the will come.

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

There the i7 8086K which is comming but I cant say im too excited for it as its an overclocked 8700k and is a bit meh. Might bring 8700K prices down slightly mind so its not all bad.

The owner of "too many" computers, called

The Lord of all Toasters (1920X 1080ti 32GB)

The Toasted Controller (i5 4670, R9 380, 24GB)

The Semi Portable Toastie machine (i7 3612QM (was an i3) intel HD 4000 16GB)'

Bread and Butter Pudding (i7 7700HQ, 1050ti, 16GB)

Pinoutbutter Sandwhich (raspberry pi 3 B)

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

loaf and let dough (A printer that doesn't print black ink)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

Matter of Loaf and death (some old shitty AMD laptop)

windybread (4X E5470, intel HD, 32GB ECC) (use coming soon, maybe)

And more, several more

please explain to me how a 480 dollar chip which is basically a 350 dollar chip will bring the price down of the 350 dollars one?  it's just for the linus kind of people around wich just find it funny and have the connections or money to get one.

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

The 8086K is going to be 480 dollars now? Only rumors i've seen claim it to have a $70 premium over an 8700k,which isn't that bad when a pre-binned cpu costs about that much or more.
